Don't know anything about this project, but those who are interested in .Net object caching might want to take a look at this:

I have used db4o in the past for this role - it is an excellent cache for .net objects - AND it has lovely 'native queries' check it out. I have been speaking with some of the folks over there @ db4o and it seems there are a number of users in the global finance tech community. I can get you specific refs as to who and how.
